At the end of the season the association offered its members the opportunity to take one of three guided tours of the Martin-Gropius-Bau´s great retrospective of the oeuvre of famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) that has been taking place on the occasion of the centenary of the Mexican revolution. During the 60-minute-tours the participants could see a selection of the artist´s 150 exhibited paintings and drawings, amongst which were works that have never been shown before or have been believed to be missing, as well as a photo show from the possession of family and friends that gave insight into different phases of Frida Kahlo´s life.
