After the Barenboim cycle was successfully opened this season with Schubert's »Die schöne Müllerin« interpreted by tenor Jonas Kaufmann, the Lied takes centre stage once again. Soprano Dorothea Röschmann will perform works by Robert Schumann. She will be accompanied by Daniel Barenboim on the piano and members of the Staatskapelle Berlin.
The originally scheduled concert with soprano Anna Prohaska for this date has been postponed to 20 October 2013.
