The “Long night of operas and theatres” that took place for the first time last year went into its second round on April 6th 2010. 68 Berlin stages presented themselves with a short program of current productions, among them the Staatsoper which opened both its “old” house Unter den Linden and the future venue “Schiller Theater” for the audience. A genre- and time-crossing program which combined instrumental and opera music with discussions ensured a great crush and lively interest.
