On the occasion of the charity recital in the benefit of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden on June 10th we cooperated with the management consultancy A.T. Kearney Frankfurt for the 3rd time already. In the gorgeous Holzhausenschlösschen which is situated right in the middle of a small lake 150 selected guests were welcomed. After the greeting of host Holger Röder, vice president of A.T. Kearney, Ronald H. Adler, artistic director of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and Bernd Löwe, artistic director of the Frankfurt opera, addressed words of welcome and a charity appeal to the guests. Hereafter Anna Prohaska, Daphne awardee and member of the Staatsoper ensemble, and the baritone Aris Argiris from the Frankfurt opera provided an acclaimed recital.
The extraordinary programme of the soprano “Of fishermen and of mermaids” including works of Mahler, Schubert, Wolf and Dvořák took in the audience while the showpieces of the baritone very much pleased amongst others because of the popularity of the arias. Both singers were only allowed to leave the stage after various encores. The mild summer evening was brought to an end by a flying buffet on the pier of the castle.
