On Friday, October 16, we offered our Apollos the opportunity to witness a stage-orchestra rehearsal of the »Simon Boccanegra« premiere. This was an impressive event especially with regard to the first class cast: you could admire Plácido Domingo, Anja Harteros, Kwangchul Youn and Daniel Barenboim as conductor of the Staatskapelle. Due to this evening our young members received an intensive impression of Verdis masterwork.
