Schedule Changes

Despite the current difficulties posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden is aspiring to realize most productions as planned. For example the new productions of Luca Francesonis »Quartett« and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s »Mitridate, Re di Ponto« as well as the BAROCKTAGE in November can take place with no limitations and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Bizet’s »Les pêcheurs de perles« in a production by Wim Wenders with, amongst others, Olga Peretyatko and Pavol Breslik.

New to the program are an Italian arias evening directed by Simone Young, and five performances of August Everding’s production of Mozart’s »Die Zauberflöte« in a new, shortened version for the whole family.

Unfortunately productions such as »Macbeth«, »Tannhäuser«, »Musicbanda Franui«, »Jazzkonzert Thomas Quasthoff & Band« and »The Turn of the Screw« are not possible.
