Foundation Staatsoper Unter den Linden

Opera is a tradition-steeped experience that has been constantly evolving over time, connecting the past, present and future like no other art form. By establishing a foundation, individuals who feel a deep connection to the State Opera can provide long-term support for the outstanding artistic work of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden through donations, endowments, bequests or legacies.

In order to ensure reliable and long-term support on the one hand and to be able to meet the special needs of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden on the other, the foundation has assets that are to be preserved in the long term and also has the option of setting up a foundation fund with consumable assets (hybrid foundation). The ‘Stiftung Staatsoper Unter den Linden’ can also administer other foundations.
