On the stage of the currently closed Staatsoper Unter den Linden performances are taking place! Until July 10th, we will be presenting you a current, multidisciplinary concert programme featuring musicians of the Staatskapelle Berlin, Daniel Barenboim, singers of the soloist ensemble, pianists of the opera house and a number of artist friends on our digital schedule as video-on-demand.
The programme of the ten concert streams includes amongst others Camille Saint-Saëns »Le carnaval des animaux« under the musical direction of Daniel Barenboim, with Polina Semionova as the Swan and Jan Josef Liefers as the Narrator, an opera gala with Olga Peretyatko, Anna Prohaska, Elsa Dreisig, René Pape and Charles Castronovo, among others, liedrecitals, concerts with works by Beethoven, Mozart, Schumann, Strauss and Widmann, among others, with chamber music ensembles as well as jazz and Brazilian songs.
