Anne-Sophie Mutter and Laume Skride play three major violin sonatas from the Classical and Romantic periods as part of FESTTAGE 2022. It was Mozart who pioneered this genre of chamber music; Beethoven productively expanded upon it, and Franck brought it to a new zenith with his well-known sonata of the mid-1880s.
