Select at least three dates from all subscription concerts for the 2025/26 season and receive a 20% discount* on the regular admission price.
You determine the date, category of seat and whether you prefer to attend a concert by the Staatskapelle at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden or the Philharmonie Berlin.
You can also decide how many concerts you wish to attend: three, four or up to five.
The elective subscription is valid for one season and requires no cancellation.
* Discounts apply to all price categories. Further discounts cannot be combined with this offer. The number of tickets is limited. Please note: with the Wahl-Abo Sinfoniekonzerte and the Liederabend-Package you are not guaranteed the same seats for every concert.

SCOPE OF SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT
A fixed subscription (Premiere Subscription A, Premiere Subscription B, Concert Subscription) is generally valid for one season. You will receive all the necessary information on how to extend it for a further season in due time. If you do not wish to renew your subscription, please cancel it in writing by 15 May.
For subscriptions taken out from 1 March 2022, the following applies: at the end of the second season, your contract will be extended for an indefinite period if notice is not given within the right period. From the third season onwards, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with a one-month notice period. In this case, you will receive a pro-rata refund of your subscription price for the events included in your subscription that you did not attend.
As an opera or concert subscriber, in addition to your subscription, you have the option to purchase up to two tickets per opera performance or concert with a 10% discount in the A-F and J-M categories. This offer can not be combined with other discounts.
Subscribers will receive all the necessary information for the following season in due time. The subscription price is determined by the price group of the seating you would like. It includes the processing fees for payment by direct debit (incl. postage) as well as cloakroom fees.
It is possible to pay for subscriptions by credit card in one instalment.
The Staatsoper reserves the right to change the number of events for individual subscriptions, as well as the conditions and prices for the upcoming season. Such changes will be announced in good time before the start of ticket sales.
DIRECT DEBIT
You can also pay for your fixed subscription using SEPA direct debit. Your subscription tickets and the AboCard will be sent to you free of charge no later than two weeks before the first subscription event.
All conditions mentioned, including the possibility to pay by SEPA direct debit, apply only to fixed subscriptions.
PAYMENT DUE DATE
The written confirmation of your subscription gives you a due date for payment. Subscriptions ordered will remain reserved until this due date. If no payment is received after the due date, the subscription will be released for resale.
TICKET DELIVERY BY POST
Your subscription cards and the AboCard will be sent to you free of charge no later than two weeks before the first subscription event.
PROGRAMME CHANGES AND CHANGES
The right to programme changes and rescheduling is reserved and does not constitute a withdrawal from the subscription or the right to withdraw or exchange subscription tickets. This also applies in the event of relocating a subscription event. The Staatsoper Unter den Linden reserves the right to add or change the seating if necessary.
RIGHT OF EXCHANGE
If you are unable to attend, you can return your subscription ticket once a season up to one week before the performance date. The pro-rata value of the subscription ticket can be credited on the next purchase of an admission ticket. You will receive a virtual voucher equal to the value of the subscription price, which will be credited to your customer account. You can use the voucher to purchase a ticket in the same price category as your subscription. It is not possible to receive the value of the virtual voucher in cash. The voucher is valid until the end of the respective season or until the end of the contract from the third season if the subscription is cancelled before the end of the season. There is no substitute for unattended subscription events or expired vouchers.
To use a free ticket for an accompanying person, a valid disability pass in the “B” category must be presented. If the pass cannot be presented at the entrance, the difference between the original price of the ticket in the same price category must be paid for the accompanying person’s ticket. If the subscription ticket is not used by the holder of the disabled ID card themselves, but by another person, this must be communicated to the subscription office in writing in due time before the performance. The ticket for the accompanying person will be exchanged for a regular ticket in the same price category after the difference between the original price has been paid.
OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE INFORMATION IN THE EVENT OF CHANGES
The subscription office requires you to inform them in writing of changes in name, address and/or bank details. This way, we can continue to provide you with all relevant information in due time. In the event of the death of the subscriber, the subscription office must also be informed immediately in writing. In this case, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden will grant the heir a special right of termination or the transfer of the subscription upon presentation of appropriate evidence.
