Enjoy once again Staatsoper für alle

In glorious summer weather, Berlin's Bebelplatz was once again transformed into a musical festival venue at the weekend: around 20,000 spectators enjoyed the 19th edition of ‘Staatsoper für alle’ – the high-profile open-air event organised by the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and its long-standing partner BMW. With the live broadcast of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette and the concert by the Staatskapelle Berlin under Christian Thielemann, the audience was treated to two extraordinary musical events under the open sky – with free admission.
