The musical all-rounder Antonín Dvořák also made a name for himself as a symphonist, particularly with his last symphony "From the New World", in which he processed his experiences in North America. Another work from the 1890s is the concert overture "Carnival", in which the joys and intoxication of life are translated into sound. The 2nd Piano Concerto by Camille Saint-Saëns is one of the most famous instrumental concertos by the French virtuoso and composer - quite unconventional in its structure, with challenging tasks for the soloist.
