Dorothee Oberlinger and her Ensemble 1700 take the audience of this year’s BAROCKTAGE to the »Ländliche Idyllen des französischen Barock« (Rural Idylls of the French Baroque). Prominent and lesser-known French composers from the era of absolutism under kings Louis XIV and XV created this astonishing music which delighted listeners at the time and continues to do so today.
