Konzert im Boulez Saal I
The Staatskapelle Berlin has already performed several times in the Pierre Boulez Saal with a smaller ensemble. This time the musicians will play works by the progressive 19th-century composers, Wagner and Liszt, as well as from Russia and the Soviet Union – by the young Sergei Prokofiev, who created his symphonic debut in 1917, and by Valentin Silvestrov from Kiev, who wrote his string serenade in 1978.
