Staatsoper soloists are usually at home on the main stage in big opera performances, but sometimes they deliberately seek out a more intimate venue. In a series of evenings in the Apollo-Saal, audiences can experience soloists from the Staatsoper ensemble singing classical lieder. Every kind of voice is represented, as are a range of languages and musical styles. The evenings are an opportunity to (re)discover the classical repertoire as well as lesser known songs.
