[...] Frank Heintze begann seine musikalische Ausbildung im Jahr 1970 bei Herbert Heilmann, dem Solo-Fagottisten der Staatskapelle Berlin. 1983 schloss er erfolgreich sein Studium an der Musikhochschule »Hanns Eisler« Berlin ab. Im selben Jahr wurde er als 2. Fagottist an der Staatskapelle Berlin engagiert.
